Master of Science - Kinesiology

Program Overview

The MSc in Kinesiology is a thesis-based program focused on human movement, health, and sport science. With a multidisciplinary approach, students work alongside leading experts in biomechanics; exercise physiology; injury prevention, rehabilitation, and sport medicine; health, exercise, and sport psychology; motor behaviour and neural control of movement; socio-cultural aspects of sport and physical activity; nutrition, metabolism, and genetics; adapted exercise science, growth and aging, leadership and coaching; dance science, exploring research in injury prevention, performance optimization, physical activity participation, human movement, and health outcomes.

Program Structure

  • Courses: One graduate-level course in research methods, and one in either statistics or qualitative analysis.
  • Thesis: Students conduct and defend original research under faculty supervision.
