The Centre for Video and Performance Analysis (CVPA) provides expertise, technology integration solutions and performance analysis services to sport organizations, athletes, and coaches. The goal of the CVPA is to help improve athlete techniques/skills and team tactics/strategies through the use of state-of-the-art video and other measurement technologies. The mission of the CVPA is to be recognized as a worldwide Centre of Excellence for innovations in integrated sport technology, training/teaching methods and performance analysis services.
The CVPA has worked with many high performance athletes and teams to help them integrate, implement and practically use technology during training and competition. The CVPA provides expertise and resources to sports teams who have needs for using technology, collecting information and analyzing/managing data, related to athlete performances. The CVPA provides performance analysis services, education/training opportunities and research/development collaborations with sports teams to help in their quest of optimizing athlete performances.
