Black brings expertise in injury prevention and sport concussion with a specific focus on behavior change and knowledge translation.
Biography
Black completed her MSc at York University in 2012 and her PhD at the University of Calgary with Dr. Carolyn Emery, PhD, in 2017. She was the recipient of a doctoral scholarship from the Hotchkiss Brain Institute. Most recently, she has been a postdoctoral fellow under Dr. Keith Yeates, PhD, (integrated Concussion Research Program) and Dr. Carolyn Emery, PhD. She joined the Faculty of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary in August, 2019.
