Research interests

Noye Tuplin's doctoral work focuses on the effects of palatable foods (chocolate, sugar) on brain reward systems and food-seeking behavior. Her current work investigates the beneficial effects of different dietary fibers on the gut microbiota and metabolic disturbances, such as those seen in individuals with diabetes.  She is also interested in exploring the beneficial effects of dietary fibers on the gut-brain axis.
